Fun Escape Room Experiences for Groups of 15 to 50+ Players

You can bring a large group to an escape room and make sure everyone has a fun, engaging experience. Here is exactly how we make it happen.

We built Escape Room LoCo right here in Leesburg for this moment. Maybe you’re planning a birthday party for 15 kids or organizing a team event for 50 coworkers who aren’t excited about another typical team-building activity. Either way, you are in the right place.

Why Escape Room for Large Groups Doesn’t Have to Mean Chaos

Many venues feel overwhelmed by large groups. More people usually means more waiting and somebody standing around bored while their friends have all the fun. That’s not what happens here.

We have watched groups of fifteen, thirty, even fifty plus players walk through our doors looking a little unsure, then walk out already texting each other about the next visit. Here is what nobody tells you about booking a large group experience: the size isn’t the hard part. The planning is. We already thought through it, so you don’t have to.

  • Multiple rooms running at once, so nobody sits around waiting
  • Mixed skill levels welcome, zero experience required
  • Story-driven puzzles built to pull in the whole group, not just the “gamer” you brought along

How Many Players Can Actually Play at Once?

Group size changes how we set things up behind the scenes. Here is a breakdown, so you know what to expect before you book.

Group Size

How It Works

15 to 20 players

One private booking, split across two rooms or missions running side by side

20 to 35 players

Three to four rooms and missions running at once, teams rotate between indoor and outdoor

35 to 50+ players

A full building takeover, with indoor rooms and outdoor missions running together

No matter the number, your group stays private. You are never mixed in with strangers.

How We Split Large Groups Without Losing the Magic

Will your group get split up with total strangers? Will one team finish in ten minutes while everyone else waits in a lobby? Nope, on both counts.

For larger parties, we run the rooms on rotating schedules, so smaller teams tackle different indoor rooms or outdoor missions at the same time. Then we swap once they finish. Think of it less like a single ride and more like a mini festival built just for your crew. For groups closer to fifty, we mix in outdoor adventures too. We pair the rooms indoors with something like Operation Mindfall outside to keep the energy high and the lines short.

Indoor Rooms or Outdoor Missions?

You don’t have to pick just one. A lot of groups do both. Indoor rooms like Dreams Factory, Refuge, Totally 90s Mall Escape, and Alien Agents each tell a different story. Want something whimsical? Dreams Factory does that. Want a bit of tension without going to a full horror movie? Refuge handles it well.

If your crew wants fresh air, our outdoor adventures turn downtown Leesburg into the game board. Operation Mindfall, Blackout, and The Magic Portal send small teams chasing clues through real streets. Not sure which fits? Browse the rooms page and picture your people in each story.

Planning for Mixed-Age Groups

Family reunions, school trips, and multi-generational birthdays all bring the same worry. Will grandpa keep up? Will the eight-year-old get bored while the teenagers race ahead? We build for exactly this.

  • Younger players get hands-on roles like holding clues or unlocking boxes
  • Teens and adults handle the trickier logic without taking over the whole game
  • Every story works whether your youngest player is seven or your oldest is seventy

Nobody gets left standing in the corner. That’s the whole point.

How Much Does an Escape Room for a Large Group Cost?

Most large-group events run 60 to 90 minutes, even with a full house of fifty players. Per-person pricing drops as your headcount grows, and once you compare it to dinner and a movie for the whole group, it stacks up fast. Reach out with your headcount and we will walk you through a quote that fits your group, not a one-size-fits-all package.

The Best Escape Room for Large Groups in Loudoun County

Plenty of options exist around Northern Virginia. But if you are searching for the best escape room for large groups, here is what sets us apart. We’re locally owned, woman-owned, and built from scratch right here in Leesburg. Nothing about us feels stamped out of a franchise template.

Our stories are original, our puzzles are handmade, and our team genuinely wants your group to still talk about it over dinner. For office managers, that same care applies to team-building days. We are not handing your employees a generic trust fall. We are handing them a story where the quiet coworker often solves the puzzle the loud one missed.

Booking Your Group’s Adventure

Escape Room LoCo "not sure what to book" promo

Booking an escape room for large groups shouldn’t require a spreadsheet and three phone calls. Whether it’s a birthday party, a corporate day, a private reunion, or a seasonal pop-up, we build the process around your group size.

  • Birthday parties with flexible room combos for kids and mixed-age families
  • Corporate and team-building packages built for real communication
  • Private group bookings so your party never mixes with strangers
  • Gift cards, for someone else to plan their own adventure later

Pick your dates, tell us your headcount, and we handle the rest, including splitting your crew between the rooms so everyone plays at once.

So, what is your group actually waiting for? On a birthdayA birthday, a work outing, or a random Tuesday that needs an adventure, your people are probably closer to a great story than you think.
